Hi, my name is Jackie and I am the principal of Jazzle Dazzle. Here is my story......

I started dancing from a very young age at 2 1/2 years old. I was fortunate enough to receive training in a variety of different disciplines in which I showed enthusiasm towards. Through the years I have developed my technique by participating in Exams and Displays and in the earlier years of my dancing I experienced some competitive training.
I received my first Associate certificate back in 2004 for Stage and became a member with the B.A.T.D (British Association of Teachers of Dancing) since then I have furthered my qualifications and now I hold a fellowship with the B.A.T.D .
My current certificates are as follows:

F.B.A.T.D Freestyle
M.B.A.T.D Traditional Step Dancing and Stage
A.B.A.T.D Modern Dance, Ballet, Highland and Cheerpom
U.S.A.S.F Levels 1 and 2 , stunts tumbles and tosses
BGU Hip-Hop , Jazz and Pom

I have been a Dance Teacher/choreographer and Assistant at various dance schools since 2006.  My qualifications are extremely important to me and i hold my own personal goals to continually further my training in the future.

I am also a qualified Pre Five Nursery Officer , with an HNC in Childcare and Education. Graduating in 2002 I have 15 years experience in working with young children. From this line of work I hold Enhanced Disclosure Scotland and I am SSSC registered.
Recently, in the summer of 2017 I attended BGUs Dance teacher training certificates and passed these credentials in Pom , Hip-Hop and Jazz .

Self Employed -Head Coach (Pom / Acro / Cheer ) - Michelle

Michelle has joined Jazzle Dazzle for the new year 2013/14 to teach Acro/Flexibility and Tumbling to the Jazzle Dazzle Pupils. In 2016 Michelle became my Vice President to Jazzle Dazzle and came on board to manage our cheerleading teams, as well us our upper school competitive pom students.

Here is Michelles story,

I have been a keen dancer since I was 8 years old, moved up the grades and became a qualified dance teacher with the BATD at the age of 22. I then took a keen interest in cheerleading and tumbling, so started attending competition and gained enough experience to become a qualified cheerleading, stunts and tumbling coach.  I also work with children in my part time job as a pediatric dental nurse. I am first aid trained with intermediate life support. I hold a full disclosure.
I believe in strict, well disciplined coaching (in our competitive program). I will push our students to strive to be the best they can be, however, praise where praise is due and I dedicate my life to my students.
